Your Minimalist Morning Playlist
On slow quiet mornings I listen to this lofi playlist. It is lyric-less, slightly grainy and gives off a feeling of warmth. Because I associate it with doing things slowly and intentionally, I feel like it is perfect for a minimalist.
A minimalist is very intentional about both the things around them and the things they do everyday. You remove the distractions you don’t need, to focus more on the things you love. I like to listen to this lofi music as I do certain morning tasks, like making some coffee. It allows me to be less distracted and therefore enjoy the process more. I also like to put it on when friends come over and there is a good conversation going on. It is relaxing music, but it again, allows you to focus and be more intentional about what’s happening around you.
When to listen:
A mentioned above, I listen to lofi when I want to focus and be present. Generally I put it on for the first hour I’m awake. It’s relaxing and a good start to my day.
Below are some activities that go well with some lofi:

- When studying.
- When reading.
