This month I have started the process of “resetting” each room in my house, once per week. This is done by dedicating 1–2 hours to cleaning your entire space and refreshing it for the next week to come. It is a simple concept but ultimately makes any tidying throughout the week easier. My weekly reset takes place on Friday. After work, my partner and I dedicate 2 hours to the task of working through each room in our house. We have a specific image of what our space will look like and therefore know when the cleaning/ tidying is complete. When this happens, we have a sense of freshness and renewal — a clean slate for the next morning.
