  • Keep a cleaning cloth easily accessible. Wipe down surfaces after each use. It takes 5 seconds, looks great and keeps grime from building up.
  • Clean up as you cook. Clear food scraps and put dishes in the sink as you go.
  • Keep Clutter off the Counter. Don’t store things directly on the counter. This will make it way easier for you to wipe down the surface.
  • Organize the inside of your refrigerator once a week. Dedicate a section particularily for leftovers. Keep them front and center so that they don’t get lost in the back. Make one night a week leftover/ use all the items about to go bad night for dinner.
  • Keep a sharpie and masking tape handy in the kitchen. Label items with the date it was opened. This will make it way easier for you to get rid of old food later.
  • Keep items in jars to avoid flies and moths. Keep things susceptible to moths in tightly lidded jars or containers (eg. flour and nuts). Store rubber bands nearby to ensure bags and packets are tightly closed.
  • Replace your sponges weekly. Bacteria lives and grows on sponges. As soon as it start smelling, it’s time for the sponge to go.
