How To Meditate Everyday
In this article, I want to teach you an easy way to get meditation into your day. The idea is to do it early before the day gets too hectic and to attach it to an already automatic habit — like making coffee or tea. One of the hard things about meditation can be sticking to the practice long-term, it can be tempting to procrastinate the habit. I am going to show you how to overcome that and how to meditate every day.
Why Meditate?
It is clear that meditation, even if only for 2 minutes a day, improves our quality of life. In 2019, the University of California published 10 Health Benefits of Meditation. Those 10 benefits listed are as follows;
- Reduced stress
- Improved memory
- Increased attention
- Enhanced will power
- Better sleep
- Less chronic pain
- Lower blood pressure
- Less anxiety
- Less depression
- Greater compassion

As you make your tea or coffee in the morning, meditate while the kettle boils.
