Aeropress Brew Method: The Aero Bloom
Ingredients:
— 20 grams of freshly ground coffee (medium-coarse grind)
— 250 ml of filtered water (heated to 195°F or 90°C)
Instructions:
- Place the Aeropress filter in the filter cap and pre-wet it with hot water.
- Set the Aeropress upright (inverted style) and add the ground coffee.
- Pour in a small amount of hot water (about 50 ml) and stir gently to bloom the coffee grounds. Let it bloom for 30 seconds.
- After blooming, pour in the remaining hot water and stir gently to ensure even extraction.
- Attach the filter cap and let it steep for an additional 1 minute.
- Press the plunger down slowly for 20–30 seconds until you hear a hissing sound.
- Serve immediately to experience the bright and vibrant flavors of this Aero Bloom method.
