A Coffee Expert’s Gift Guide (Under $30)
It can be intimidating to buy coffee or coffee brewing equipment for that coffee fanatic in your life. You may not know what they like or what the best gear is out there. An even bigger problem is that once you know what to buy, it is often too expensive.
When people ask me what to buy their coffee-expert friend/ family member, this is the gear I tend to point them to. If you are that coffee expert, feel free to subtly send this list to your grandma who is trying to buy you a gift.

A scale makes a huge difference when you brew at home. It means you can be incredibly precise when following those brew methods and separates the amateur from the expert. When buying a coffee scale, it’s really nice if it has a timer built into it. This is because most home coffee brew methods require that you follow different steps at specific times in the brew process.
