30 Minute Energizing Morning Routine

If you have 30 quiet minutes in your morning between waking up and starting your busy day, you should try the following energizing morning routine. This is what the first 30 minutes of my day looks like, allowing me to start it off in a restful way, better preparing and energizing me for productivity and a good day later.

The routine is divided into 3 separate parts, 10 minutes of mindfully drinking coffee outside, 10 minutes of meditation and finally 10 minutes of journaling.

Before you begin:

  • Use a timer. If you need to follow the strict 30 minute time guide, set a timer for each 10 minute section. However feel free to do this routine for any length of time, for example a 15 minute routine would have five minutes for each segment. The important thing is that you have the chance to do a little bit everyday.
  • Find a calm space. Establish somewhere away from distraction where you can complete this morning routine. The first 10 minutes takes place somewhere outside so having easy access to an outdoor space, like a stoop or backyard from this calm space is important.
